Let’s say your house sells for $300,000
In a traditional real estate transaction, commissions alone would be $18,000.

The listing agent gets $9,000 or 3%. And the buyer’s agent gets $9,000 or 3%. The buyer’s agent brings the buyer for a 3% commission. But what does the listing agent do for 3%? Fill out some forms, upload photos, schedule showings.
